HBS received a full duties appointment to refurbish this naturally ventilated 20,000 M2 award winning Head Office building and support facilities for The National Farmers Union Mutual in Stratford-upon-Avon. The refurbishment was carried out in a number of phases over a two year period while the building remained occupied.

The refurbishment and replacement of the Building Services installations included the fire and security alarm systems, CCTV, office lighting and escape lighting, introducing a comprehensive daylight monitoring and occupancy sensing lighting control system, upgrading the lifts and providing a fully automated window controls system to monitor and manage the building’s natural ventilation and cooling properties improving the building’s environment for its occupants throughout the year.

The project also included the conversion of an old on-site stationary store into a new staff restaurant and private dinning facility.
