London’s newest 4 star luxury Hotel and Spa, located at Chelsea Bridge Wharf, opposite Battersea Park on the south bank, opened its doors and 218 guest rooms to the public at the beginning of February 2010. This Hotel is the Portuguese hotel operator’s first major investment in the UK and represents a significant step in Pestana’s city centre expansion plans across Europe and North America. 

HBS Consulting Engineers working closely with the client and alongside James Ward Associates – Architects, initially based in Madeira and Porto, were appointed to develop the client brief; produce the Employer’s Requirement documentation encompassing the design and tender of the MEPH engineering services and subsequent contract supervision and monitoring duties. 

The hotel comprises swimming pool and Spa, restaurant, piano bar, reception, meeting/conference rooms, basement banqueting/function rooms, guest suites and rooms arranged over 14 floors, fully sprinkler protected and air conditioned.
