The project; a new frozen and chilled food distribution warehouse located in Basingstoke, Hampshire included the provision of loading and despatch facilities, administration offices, welfare facilities, vehicle maintenance bay, weigh bridge and a fuel storage and pump facility.
 
HBS were appointed to undertake the detailed design of the mechanical and electrical services including new gas, water, electricity and telecommunications infrastructure, a new 1500kVA on site substation, standby generator, low voltage distribution,  chilled and frozen area refrigerant systems, lighting, small power services, comfort cooling to the offices, heating systems, external lighting, CCTV and security systems, fire detection and alarm incorporating air aspiration systems and the warehouse automated smoke extraction system and controls.
