HBS were appointed to undertake the performance specification and site supervision for the refurbishment of this 2,000M² office building in Holborn, London.

The scheme included the introduction of comfort cooling to the office space, point of use water heaters, lighting, escape lighting, small power fire alarm and security systems and a complete new low voltage distribution system.

HBS were also employed to determine the increase in electrical demand to the building and an adjacent building, owned by the Client, and organise the provision of a new substation with the Local Supply Company. Subsequent load monitoring of the building carried out by HBS has demonstrated the accuracy of the original desktop load studies.
